This is a 25-year old young woman who was unhappy with the large bump on her nose. She stated that it was most noticeable from the side view. The patient expressed a desire to correct the contour of her nose. Dr. Maffi performed a rhinoplasty (nose surgery) using an “open” method. During the open method, a small incision is made at the base of the nose in between the nostrils, allowing greater access for reshaping the cartilage. Although her results were subtle, it contributed to a marked improvement in her appearance and she is extremely happy.
