The Lip Lift Procedure
A lip lift is typically performed under local anesthesia in our office. Dr. Maffi will carefully plan the incision, usually placed at the base of the nose, to minimize visible scarring. Through this incision, a small portion of skin is removed, and the upper lip is gently lifted. The procedure typically takes about one hour to complete. After surgery, you will be monitored briefly before being released to return home with your caregiver the same day.
