The Browlift Procedure
The procedure is performed under general anesthesia to ensure optimal comfort. At Maffi Plastic Surgery, we may use a traditional, endoscopic, or lateral browlift technique, depending on your current condition. During the procedure, small incisions are placed behind the hairline or along the temples, allowing Dr. Maffi to lift the brow tissue. The muscles responsible for frown lines may also be adjusted to smooth your forehead. After your surgery, you will be monitored and released with your caregiver.
Recovery & Results for Browlift
Recovery from a browlift at Maffi Plastic Surgery is moderate for most patients. You can expect some swelling, bruising, and mild discomfort for the first week, which can be managed with medication and cold compresses. Most patients feel comfortable returning to non-strenuous activities within seven to ten days. We provide detailed aftercare instructions and schedule follow-up appointments to monitor your healing and ensure that your results are progressing as expected.
