After discussing your goals, your provider will apply a clear gel over the treatment areas to help you skin absorb light energy. Once your treatment begins, your Certified Laser Specialist will use a handpiece to deliver quick pulses of light energy across the targeted areas. You should feel minimal to no discomfort as the handpiece gently glides over your skin. The integrated cooling system ensures a comfortable experience throughout the treatment. Most sessions take 15 to 45 minutes, depending on the size and location of the treatment area, and patients typically return to daily activities right after.

Recovery
Recovery from BBL HEROicis minimal. Some patients experience some sensitivity, similar to a mild sunburn, immediately following treatment, which usually subsides within a few hours. Pigmented areas may temporarily darken before flaking off, revealing a more-even complexion. We recommend avoiding direct sun exposure and wearing a broad-spectrum sunscreen consistently to protect your skin, especially during the first 72 hours post-treatment.
