This is a 68-year old patient who has always been unhappy with the size of her arms. The patient had undergone significant weight loss and was concerned with the loose, excess skin of her arms. Dr. Maffi recommended brachioplasty (arm lift) to help remove excess skin and contour the shape of her upper arms. After surgery the patient recovered very well and was extremely pleased with her results. Please note that the redness of her scars, which is characteristic of brachioplasty scars and will fade over time.
