Emily is a Medical Assistant at Maffi Plastic Surgery and Dr. Maffi’s right hand in clinic. Since joining the practice in 2021, she has become an integral part of the surgical journey, assisting with consultations, supporting patients throughout every stage of care, and working directly alongside Dr. Maffi.
Her attention to detail and compassionate approach provide comfort and reassurance, ensuring patients feel cared for from the first visit through recovery. Emily also works closely with Mayo Clinic residents during their rotations, helping facilitate hands-on learning in a collaborative environment. In addition, she serves as the practice’s piercing expert, delivering safe and precise ear piercings within a medical setting.
